Our mission is to close the gap between AI ambition and operational reality.

We started Collected Company after seeing a growing gap between the excitement around AI and organizations' ability to apply it meaningfully. Too many organizations were being offered generic AI advice without the hands-on implementation expertise needed to back it up.

Before founding Collected Company, we each spent a decade at Google working on the early development and application of generative AI. Nicole led the launch of LaMDA, Google's early generative AI model that laid the foundation for Gemini. Teo drove development of the Gemini API, focused on how builders and businesses integrate AI into real products and workflows. Together, we also contributed to Google's thinking around responsible AI development and governance, and built AI-powered features in products used by billions.

That experience shaped a clear conviction: successful AI adoption depends on much more than the technology itself. The hard part is prioritization, workflow integration, organizational buy-in, and helping teams build confidence using these tools in practice. We founded Collected Company to bring a more practical approach to that problem, one that combines a human-centered, design-thinking lens with deep technical expertise and a rigorous, evaluation-driven approach to every build.
